Common questions

Can I unlock a PDF without the password?
No. This tool does not crack passwords. For bank statements, the password format is usually given in the e-mail or SMS that came with the file.
Why did the file unlock without a password?
The file has only a permissions password, which restricts printing or copying. It opens without a password, and this tool removes the restrictions.
Can a password be added again later?
Yes. A new password can be set with any software that supports PDF encryption.
