How to use
- After you upload the image, select “Rotate left 90°” or “Rotate right 90°”. To straighten a tilted photograph, drag the angle slider in steps of 1 degree.
- When the angle is not a multiple of 90 degrees, the corners become empty. “Trim” reduces the image to the largest area without empty corners. “Keep” leaves them transparent, or white or black in a JPG.
- You can also flip the image horizontally or vertically on this page.
Frequently asked questions
- How is a mirror image made?
- A mirror image is a horizontal flip: left and right are swapped, so any text appears reversed. To turn an image upside down, use “Flip vertically”.
- Does rotating reduce the quality?
- Rotating by 90 degrees and flipping do not change any pixel; they only change the direction. Rotating by other angles recalculates the pixels, so edges become slightly softer.
- Is my image uploaded?
- No. The image is flipped and rotated in your browser. It is not uploaded to our server.
