How to use

  1. The time in each city is calculated by the time zone database built into your browser (the IANA Time Zone Database), including daylight saving time. The page updates every second.
  2. The ahead and behind figures show the current difference between your time zone and each city. Cities in your own time zone have a blue border.
  3. Press Add or remove cities to change the list. Your list is stored in this browser and remains the same the next time you open the page. Press Restore the default cities to return to the 12 default cities.
  4. The times are based on your device clock. If the device clock is inaccurate, every city will be off by the same amount.
  5. This tool runs in your browser. What you enter and your timing records are stored only in this browser and are not uploaded.

Common questions

Why does the time difference with a city change?
Cities with daylight saving time (for example London, New York and Sydney) change their clocks twice a year, so the difference changes by 1 hour. New Delhi, Singapore, Tokyo and Beijing do not use daylight saving time.
My city is not in the list. What should I do?
Please choose another city in the same time zone. Both show the same time. The list includes city names only.
