Who we are

• Suried Tools (tools.suried.com) operates this website and decides why and how the personal information described in this notice is processed.
• This notice explains what personal information we may collect, why we collect it, and the rights you have, including under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act.

Files processed on our server

• Some features need to process the file you submit on our server, for example to detect the person in a photograph.
• Such a file is used only to complete that request. It is not used for any other purpose and is not shared with any third party.
• The file is kept on the server only while it is being processed and is deleted as soon as processing is complete.
• All files are sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection.

Files processed in your browser

• Except for the features described above, the tools open and process your images and files within your browser. Your files are not uploaded to our server.
• For some file formats, such as HEIC, a decoding program is downloaded from this website the first time it is needed. Only the program is downloaded. Your files are not sent.
• The results stay in your browser and are cleared when you close or reload the page. Files that you download are saved on your own device.

Website statistics and cookies

• To understand how this website is used and to improve it, we may use cookies, browser storage, and similar technologies, our own statistics system, and third-party analytics services such as Umami, Google Analytics, and Microsoft Clarity.
• These may record the pages you visit and their order, the time spent on each page, the buttons you click and the options you select, the website you came from, the time of your visit, and whether you visit again. They may also record your IP address, the approximate location and internet service provider derived from it, and your device, operating system, browser, screen size, and language.
• We may use the approximate location derived from your IP address to decide which regional version of this website to show when you open the home page, and to tell you on a page if another regional version is available for your location.
• One cookie remembers the regional version you choose. Another cookie recognizes the same browser when you visit again. Each cookie is kept for up to about 13 months.
• The statistics do not record the text you type into any field and do not receive the contents of the files you upload.
• You can delete or block cookies and browser storage in your browser settings. The tools will continue to work.

Signing in

• You do not need to sign in to use the tools. You may choose to sign in with a Huawei account or a Google account. This website does not use passwords.
• When you sign in, we receive from Huawei or Google and store the account number they assign to this website, your display name, and the email address they provide. We do not store your profile photo or the access tokens they issue.
• After you sign in, a cookie keeps you signed in for 30 days. We record when you signed in, when the sign-in expires, and your browser type. We do not record your IP address for this purpose.
• After you sign in, we may link the website statistics described above to your account to understand how signed-in users use this website.
• Huawei and Google handle your information under their own privacy policies.

Children

• This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Signing in is intended for people 18 and older.

Storage, sale, and sharing

• Your account information is kept on our server until you delete your account. Website statistics are kept to understand how this website is used over time.
• Our servers may be located outside the United States.
• We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We disclose it only to the analytics services and sign-in providers named in this notice, for the purposes described here.
• Apart from the account information described above, we do not collect your legal name, phone number, address, or any other personal information.

Your rights

• Depending on the state where you live, including California, you may have the right to know what personal information we have collected about you and how we use it, to have it corrected or deleted, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information.
• To make a request about your personal information, or to ask a question about this notice, please email privacy@suried.com.
• We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.
• You may delete your account at any time from My account. When you do so, your display name, email address, and all sign-in methods are deleted, and the website statistics are no longer linked to you.
