How to use

  1. In step 1, enter the purpose, for example “bank account opening”. The watermark reads “For bank account opening only. Not valid for any other use.”, followed by the date.
  2. After you upload the photograph, check that the watermark covers the whole document and that the details on it can still be read.
  3. A watermark states the purpose; it cannot stop the image from being copied. Please share images of ID documents only with organisations that need them.

Frequently asked questions

Does a watermark stop others from using my image?
A watermark repeated across the image is harder to crop out, but it cannot fully stop the image from being edited or copied. Please share important images only with people who need them.
Can I add more than one line?
Yes. Press Enter in the text box to start a new line. The lines are centred.
Are my image and text uploaded?
No. The image and the text you type are processed only in your browser. They are not uploaded to our server.
