How to use

  1. On this page, “Repeat across image”, an angle of −30 degrees and 35% opacity are already selected. Type the watermark text and upload the image; the preview shows the result.
  2. A denser and more opaque watermark is harder to crop or paint out, but it also covers more of the picture. Please adjust it to suit your purpose.
  3. To place a name in one corner only, change the layout to “Single” and drag the text into place.

Frequently asked questions

Does a watermark stop others from using my image?
A watermark repeated across the image is harder to crop out, but it cannot fully stop the image from being edited or copied. Please share important images only with people who need them.
Can I add more than one line?
Yes. Press Enter in the text box to start a new line. The lines are centred.
Are my image and text uploaded?
No. The image and the text you type are processed only in your browser. They are not uploaded to our server.
