Simplified and traditional Chinese converter

Enter Chinese text or upload a file to convert between simplified and traditional characters. Choose the Taiwan standard, the Hong Kong standard or general traditional characters. The text is converted word by word with the OpenCC dictionaries, so a character with more than one traditional form takes the form used in that word.

  • Simplified to traditional and traditional to simplified, with the Taiwan, Hong Kong or general standard.
  • Common Taiwan terms can also be converted, for example 软件 (software) to 軟體.
  • Upload TXT or SRT subtitle files and download the result in the same format.
