  • The photograph may be in colour or black and white.
  • 80% of the photograph must be the face, without a mask, with both ears visible.
  • The NEET (UG) 2026 bulletin required a photograph taken after 1 January 2026.
  • Polaroid and computer-generated photographs are not accepted.
  • A live photograph is also captured while you fill in the form.
  • Keep 4 to 6 postcard size (4 × 6 inch) colour photographs with a white background for the examination centre. These are not uploaded.

Is a postcard size photo needed for NEET?
Yes, but it is not uploaded. The NEET (UG) 2026 bulletin asks candidates to keep 4 to 6 postcard size (4 × 6 inch) colour photographs with a white background. The uploaded photograph is the passport size photograph.
