Notes

  • WAV is usually uncompressed: CD-quality stereo uses about 1,411 kbps. MP3 is a lossy format, and 192 kbps is about one seventh of that.
  • Converting WAV to MP3 removes parts of the sound that are difficult to hear. If you need the original quality, please keep the WAV file.
  • If a file already uses the target codec (for example, AAC audio to M4A), the original audio is copied without re-encoding.
  • For M4R, 30 seconds are taken from the start time you enter. According to Apple, a ringtone can be up to 30 seconds long.
  • WAV is uncompressed and about 7 times the size of a 192 kbps MP3.
  • Processing time depends on your device and the length of the file, and progress is shown on the page. Processing takes longer on a phone, so please keep this page in the foreground and do not lock the screen.
