Questions
- What is the photo size for ICA applications?
- 400 × 514 pixels for photographs uploaded through ICA e-Services, with a white background, in jpg, jpeg, heic, heif or png format, not more than 8 MB. The same size is used for passport, identity card, PR, citizenship, Long-Term Visit Pass and Student's Pass applications.
- Do I need a photograph for an Employment Pass, S Pass, Work Permit or Dependant's Pass?
- No photograph is uploaded with these applications to the Ministry of Manpower. After the pass is approved, your fingerprints and photo are registered in person at the MOM Services Centre if your notification letter says so.
- Can I edit my photograph or change the background?
- ICA states that the photograph must not be altered or enhanced in any way. If you can, take the photograph against a plain white wall and select Original in Step 3, so that the tool only crops and resizes it.
